FRONT ELEVATION
This project was about the renovation of an existing building, previously used as a private villa. The new function was a cosmetic shop. The brief called for a design that had to be bold and colourful.
RENDER OF THE NEW FACADE AT NIGHT TIME
Unfortunately, at the submission of the construction drawing package, we were not awarded the role of supervisors during construction, so the material selections and value engineering were done without the designer’s approval. I believe it is crucial for the success of a project for the designer to be involved during the final steps of a project, as this is the phase where most of the challenges are met and require problem solving skills and coordination.
